The base pay is the minimum wage a company pays for a particular job position and is usually determined by comparing it with the salaries of comparable positions in the industry and the labor market. This salary does not include bonuses or allowances.
Example
If a company pays its sales staff a base salary of 10 million VND, all its sales staff will be paid at least 10 million VND per month. However, there will be people with higher salaries because of extra bonuses or allowances.
